KICK-OFF MEETING: Launch of the EVAM Initiative

Following the Global Forum on Migration and Development and the adoption of the Global Compact for Migration, it has been acknowledged that now is the time to implement new innovative initiatives which move for concrete solutions for migrants.
EVAM’s innovative approach proposes very concrete solutions aiming at structural changes while providing immediate answers to violent situations against migrants. Following our first pilot in Belgium, our aim is to develop many more projects inside and outside Europe.
For the launch of our initiative, we selected a small group of experts, officials and actors concerned with situations of violence against migrants.
